So Eastside will go to the LPD? I was thinking since both Coeburn and ST. Paul are in the CD that Eastside would stay in the CD. Also Beast I could see Lee going to the LPD before Lebanon. I think Lee would be the better fit. And Counts I think Tazewell would go to Region C where Graham is instead of D. Richlands if they choose to drop would likely join Region D but not impossible they go to C.
Eastside will remain in the CD this year, but I would expect them to move to the LPD soon.

I don't know, but I think it would be pretty rough traveling from Thomas Walker to Tazewell....can you even get there from Rose Hill? lol
But I agree with Jason. Seems like Richlands would go with Region D and absolutely dominate the BDD and Tazewell would go with C. I believe if Richlands and/or Tazewell were in the BDD, Clintwood would probably be a lot more reluctant to leave the LPD...so let's hope that happens.
Tazewell and Richlands would want to be in the same district (whatever that may be) and it's likely Graham would want to rejoin them.
I have a hard time seeing Richlands/Tazwell in the BDD I think it would be FAR more likly to see them join the CMD and Lee move to the LPD......I still do not know what the future holds for the BDD while I can see Clintwood join them till DC consoladation I really do not think a consoladated school will stay in the BDD
IMO...since Lee has already set the precedent for hardship with the VHSL with the argument over academics....and it is a good one for them.... I would think that you could possibly see an outlook like this.....POSSIBLY....not for sure.
By looking at this new Region D configuration and going to maps.google.com, I think it is easy to see that building the new 3000 seat Convocation Center at UVA-Wise had a lot of vision going into it. If UVA-Wise were to put in some really nice seating at their football field....say enough for about 5000 people (and with the introduction now of Divisional play in the Group A with Division 1 and Division 2)....I believe UVA-Wise would be able to showcase itself more and become a great destination place for the Group A, Region D football and basketball championships. I am not saying this just because I feel that everyone needs to come to Wise County. If you look at the faciliites and the vision that UVA-Wise has right now, I believe they have the ability to give this region a chance to showcase who we are and what we are all about....plus this gives them the needed exposure that they need as a very fine instituon of learning.
